About The Arborist Store
Canada's trusted source for tree climbing gear since 1966
The Arborist Store has supplied arborists, forestry crews and rope access professionals across Canada since 1966, from two locations and with Canada-wide shipping.
The company started as Canadian Forestry Equipment (CFE), focused on the forestry industry, and grew into arboriculture, mineral exploration and environmental engineering. Commercial Solutions bought CFE in 2002. In 2010 the Ontario branch was sold and renamed The Arborist Store, and in early 2017 a second location opened in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, to serve customers in Western Canada. ArboStar's partnership, since February 2026, is with the Mississauga store in Ontario.
Rather than selling into many sectors, the store stays with arborists, foresters and environmental engineers, which keeps its advice specialized and personal. Every product is professional grade: trusted brands chosen for safety, reliability and performance.
