Why ambassadors

We want it to come from people who do the job

ArboStar was built by arborists, for arborists. Tree companies on five continents run on it now.

We want the people talking about ArboStar to be the ones who use it on the job, not an agency. That is what the ambassador program is for.

Founding Partner

The Arborist: Innovators & Influencers

A seven-part documentary about the people working in tree care, filmed over three and a half years in the UK, Europe and North America by our ambassador Simeon Balsam of Visual Climber.

ArboStar is a Founding Partner of the series alongside the Tree Care Industry Association. The premiere is planned for November 2026.

  • 7 episodes
  • 3.5 years of filming
  • UK, Europe and North America

When Simeon shared his vision for The Arborist documentary, supporting it was a no-brainer for us.

Activities

What you would actually do

Owners show how they schedule crews or write an estimate. Climbers film a normal day. Trainers show how they assess new climbers.

If something in ArboStar annoys you, say so. We want to hear it.

Things we do together

  • Posts, stories, reels and videos in your own words
  • Short videos of how you use ArboStar on a normal day
  • Webinars and podcast appearances
  • Industry events
  • Product feedback sessions
  • Introducing tree companies you think would use ArboStar, which is where the referral rewards come in

Three ways it can look

A

The owner

Run your business on ArboStar and show how you plan the week or build an estimate, as Aaron Schmitz and Odon Molina do. Introduce other tree companies if you want to.

B

The trainer

Join a webinar or a podcast to talk about training, assessment and the practical side of tree care, as Oliver Moore does with the climbers he assesses.

C

The creator

Tell industry stories in your own format, as Simeon Balsam does with his podcast, YouTube channel and documentary.

These are examples. You decide how much you do.

Who it is for

You don't need a big following.

Small accounts are welcome. If you do the work, already show it somewhere in public and have an opinion about it, apply.

1

Working arborists & climbers

You climb, cut or lead a crew, and show it: social, video or teaching.

2

Tree company owners & managers

You schedule crews, write estimates and chase the invoices, and talk about it: a channel, a podcast or a stage.

3

Educators & industry professionals

You train or mentor climbers, or run courses.

4

Creators & community voices

You post, film or podcast about tree work.

This is probably not for you if

  • You want a script to read or a logo to post. We do not do that.
  • You want to refer companies and nothing else. The Referral Program is built for that.
  • You have no connection to tree care. This program is for people who do the work or teach it.
  • You do not share your work anywhere in public yet. Start there; the Referral Program is open to you now.

How it works

Three steps

01

Introduce yourself

Fill in the form below: who you are, what you do, and why you want to work with us.

02

We talk

A conversation with our partnerships and sales team about your work, your audience and what you would like to do.

03

Do the first thing

A first post, a webinar slot or a product feedback session, whatever we agreed, with someone from our team alongside you.

Before you apply

Straight answers

Do I have to hit quotas or post on a schedule?

No. There are no scripts and no quotas. We agree what makes sense for you and your audience, and it is yours to change if life gets busy.

How many followers do I need?

No minimum. If you work in tree care, share it somewhere in public and have something to say, apply.

What if I do not like something about ArboStar?

Say so. Nobody will ask you to say something you do not believe. Feedback on what is slow or missing is one of the reasons the program exists.

What does it cost me?

Nothing. You do not pay to apply or to join. Every approved ambassador runs the full system free, at any size.

How much time does it take?

As much or as little as you agree. A first step can be one post, one webinar slot or one product feedback session.

Is this just a referral program?

No. Referral rewards are one part of it. If you mainly want to refer companies and give product feedback, the Referral Program is the lighter route.

Who sees my application?

Our partnerships and sales team. If it looks like a fit we set up a call about your work and your audience. If not, we tell you.

Do I have to say I work with ArboStar?

Yes. Ambassadors receive free ArboStar software and cash referral rewards, and disclose that relationship when they talk about ArboStar.

Apply

Tell us what you do

Two or three lines about your work is enough. We will tell you what we can offer.

What happens after you apply

  1. Our partnerships and sales team reads it.
  2. If it looks like a fit, we suggest a conversation about your work, your audience and what you would like to do.
  3. Nothing is agreed or posted until both sides say yes. If it is not a fit right now, we say so.
