Offline Functionality

ArboStar offers reliable offline capabilities designed specifically for arborists working in remote areas with little or no internet coverage. Your crew can stay productive, tracking time, creating estimates, and managing leads, without needing to be connected. Even in rural or forested regions with poor mobile signal, work carries on uninterrupted.

Offline Functionality

ArboStar ensures that essential features remain active offline. This means that your crew can carry on with time tracking, filling forms, making estimates, and getting new leads regardless of being connected to the internet. This is especially important for arborists in the field ensuring that they will not be disrupted in their work even in the most remote rural areas. When working in isolated or hard-to-reach locations, having unreliable or non existing mobile signal, is a common issue. This is something that ArboStar helps you resolve with its offline capability features. It helps you keep your crew productive without their network availability tethering them.

Enabling offline work ArboStar makes sure that the basic functions of tracking time, updating job estimates, and generating new leads are seamlessly done without an internet connection. This is of great help to arborists operating in deep forests, rural places, or places with cell network black spots.

ArboStar helps your team when mobile coverage is unavailable

Offline Time Tracker

Offline Time Tracker

The time tracker is functional without an internet connection, meaning your team can log work hours without needing Wi-Fi. This is especially beneficial for arborists in remote regions since internet access tends to be unreliable or unavailable. With offline functionality, your crew can track the time spent on each job, ensuring that all work hours are recorded accurately, even when there is no connectivity.

In contrast, GPS tracking must be turned off for offline time tracking to function properly. If GPS is turned on, and the time tracker was started online, it will continue counting work hours in offline mode, which is not optimal. The time tracking will continue until the device regains internet connection. At that point, the system will sync and stop the tracker. This guarantees that work hours are not missed even when roaming in areas without signal.

Offline Syncing

Offline Syncing

When offline, to avoid overburdening the system, only a few clients, estimates, and leads will be accessible. This is to make sure that your team can still retrieve pertinent information. It makes certain that workflows remain organized and effective in the absence of an internet connection. As soon as the device is plugged on the internet, ArboStar will instantly sync all the offline data, including newly added clients, estimates, and leads created during offline use to ensure that everything is up to date in the system.

With automatic offline data synchronization, arborists do not need to worry about forgetting any critical information even if they are in remote areas with no connectivity. Once the internet is available, automatic updates take place ensuring all records are accurate and complete.

Job Management

Job Management

All jobs and form filling can be completed offline, ensuring team members remain productive regardless of internet connectivity. Whether your team is starting a new job or completing a pre-defined task, offline functionality ensures there is no disruption to workflow.

Changing job statuses or invoice generation cannot be performed without the device being online. This ensures the data during offline periods is not tampered with. While everything is kept up to date after going online, automation of tasks helps all incomplete tasks executed prior to going online get accomplished seamlessly. Everything from progress updates to form submissions will be automatically synchronized with the system, keeping everything up to date.
