About Arbortec
Over 30 years of chainsaw protective apparel
Arbortec Forestwear designs and manufactures chainsaw protective apparel from its head office and innovation centre in Swaffham, Norfolk, and has done so for over 30 years.
The brand was born in 1990 with a breakthrough in chainsaw footwear. Today the range covers chainsaw trousers, chainsaw and climbing boots, gloves and clothing, with the Treehog line for climbing and rigging, and it sells in 15 countries across three continents.
Arbortec owns its factory in Portugal, which gives it full control over how its protective apparel is produced. Its Breatheflex chainsaw trousers paired certified protection with more flexibility and comfort. Arboriculture stays at the core, and the same gear is worn across forestry, utilities, rail and emergency response; a lifestyle range sits alongside the protective equipment.
