PR & Communications Lead

Marketing team, Full Time

ArboStar develops business management software for tree care companies. We are building a dedicated communications function to support ArboStar, ArboScale, and ArboNation, our new professional community for the tree care industry.

We are looking for a hands-on PR & Communications Lead who can turn industry knowledge, customer experience and leadership expertise into credible stories, useful relationships and a clear public voice.

You will establish the function, set priorities with the Marketing team and personally lead its early work. Our initial focus is the US market.

What you will do

  • Develop a practical communications strategy with clear positioning, audiences and priorities for each brand.

  • Build relationships with relevant trade publications, journalists, podcast hosts and event organizers.

  • Develop and pitch stories based on verified customer experiences, industry issues and company expertise.

  • Prepare executive articles, interviews, speaking proposals, media responses and briefing materials.

  • Interview customers, practitioners and internal experts, obtaining permission before using their stories publicly.

  • Establish editorial standards, fact-checking practices and a process for handling sensitive communications.

  • Guide Treewoven’s launch communications, keeping public promises aligned with what the community can deliver.

  • Coordinate the Community Manager and editorial contributors, and report on results and lessons.

You will work closely with our Marketing Director and existing Partnerships Manager. The Partnerships Manager owns relationships with associations, partners, and influencers; you will develop communications and joint initiatives together.

What we are looking for

  • Around five or more years of relevant PR or communications experience, with evidence of work for US audiences.

  • Strong written and spoken English, including the ability to write clear, publication-ready business content.

  • Experience in B2B, professional services, trade industries or industry associations.

  • Examples of earned media coverage, executive communications or thought leadership, with a clear explanation of your personal contribution.

  • Confidence interviewing business owners and practitioners and finding a useful story in their experience.

  • Ability to prioritize, manage a small budget and deliver work without a large supporting team.

  • Sound judgment about claims, confidentiality, commercial disclosures and reputation.

  • Practical use of AI tools for research and drafting, supported by independent fact-checking and editorial judgment.

Experience in arboriculture, landscaping, construction, equipment, or field-service software is valuable.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote work
  • Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, 14:00 AM–22:00 PM
  • 10 paid vacation days.
  • Competitive fixed salary.
  • Opportunities to influence the communications strategy and direction of a growing company.
  • Corporate English language training.

Middle Strong/Senior QA Engineer

QA team, Full Time

We’re looking for a QA Engineer who combines strong testing skills with hands-on experience using AI and test automation. We need someone who can analyze requirements, identify risks, validate AI-generated tests, and improve QA processes.

What you’ll do

  • Analyze requirements before development, identify gaps, contradictions, and potential risks.
  • Use AI to analyze Jira tickets, generate checklists and test scenarios, and validate the quality of AI-generated outputs.
  • Test web applications, mobile apps (Android/iOS), and APIs.
  • Verify user roles and permissions, data isolation between client companies, and other business-critical scenarios.
  • Prepare test data and perform functional and regression testing.
  • Create bug reports in Jira, verify fixes, and participate in release preparation.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests, using AI to improve test automation efficiency.
  • Improve prompts and AI pipelines, identify repetitive tasks for automation, and evaluate the results.

What we’re looking for

  • 2–3 years of QA experience in a product team.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation and using AI in QA processes.
  • Knowledge of test design techniques and risk-based testing.
  • Experience testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.
  • Basic SQL knowledge: SELECT, JOIN, and database validation.
  • Confident use of browser DevTools, including Network and Console.
  • Experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS, with a basic understanding of Android Studio and Xcode.
  • JavaScript/TypeScript skills sufficient to read and write automated tests. Experience with Playwright is a plus.
  • Experience with Jira, test documentation, and writing clear bug reports.
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and identify missing scenarios, duplicates, and incorrect checks.
  • Independence, critical thinking, and the ability to work with incomplete requirements.
  • English proficiency sufficient to read technical documentation.

Nice to have

  • Playwright and experience running automated tests in CI.
  • Experience with Charles Proxy, Proxyman, or similar network debugging tools.
  • Experience with AI agents, MCP, and integrations with Jira/Confluence.

What success looks like

  • Requirements and risks are analyzed before development begins.
  • Checklists are prepared before testing starts.
  • Testing is completed within agreed timelines, with a target SLA of one business day per ticket.
  • Bug reports include reproducible steps, expected and actual results.
  • Regression testing is completed before releases.
  • AI and automation measurably improve testing quality and efficiency rather than creating additional overhead.

Growth Marketing Manager

Marketing team, Full Time

The Role

You will own the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for ArboScale, from managing client campaigns and delivering measurable results to building a repeatable acquisition funnel for the service itself.

You'll manage paid advertising, local SEO, analytics, reporting, and client relationships while working closely with Sales and Customer Success to convert opportunities into paying clients.

This is a hands-on, results-driven role with significant ownership and room to shape a growing business.

Your primary measure of success is the number of new clients signed up for ArboScale, while maintaining strong client retention and delivering measurable marketing results.

Key Responsibilities

Client Marketing & Campaign Management

  • Own day-to-day marketing for Tree Doctors, ArboStar's partner company, including Google Ads, SEO, reporting, and ongoing performance optimisation.
  • Manage client Google Ads campaigns end to end, including campaign structure, keyword research, negative keywords, bidding strategies, ad copy, landing pages, conversion tracking, and weekly optimisation.
  • Execute local SEO strategies for tree care businesses, including Google Business Profile optimisation, service and city landing pages, review generation, citations, and Google Local Services Ads.
  • Manage Meta Ads and retargeting campaigns where they support client acquisition goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive marketing audits covering Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4/GTM, call tracking, landing pages, and CRM lead flow.
  • Translate campaign data into clear, actionable recommendations that improve lead volume, cost per lead, and booked jobs.

Client Relationships & Retention

  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships with business owners.
  • Prepare and present monthly performance reports and lead regular results review calls.
  • Monitor client performance against established baselines, identify growth opportunities, and proactively address performance issues.
  • Develop case studies showcasing client results, including lead generation, cost per lead, booked jobs, and customer testimonials.

ArboScale Growth & Customer Acquisition

  • Own marketing for ArboScale itself, building a predictable pipeline of potential clients.
  • Develop and execute targeted email campaigns to ArboStar's existing client base, using customer growth signals and relevant case studies to generate interest.
  • Launch and optimise paid acquisition campaigns targeting high-intent searches related to marketing for tree care companies.
  • Build an SEO content strategy, creating landing pages and articles that drive organic traffic and convert visitors into audit requests.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to establish a referral channel and identify clients who could benefit from ArboScale.
  • Follow up on marketing leads, book audits, nurture opportunities, and work with Sales and Customer Success to convert prospects into paying clients.

Process Development & Scaling

  • Develop and maintain a marketing playbook covering audits, campaign management, local SEO, reporting, onboarding, and client delivery.
  • Standardise onboarding checklists, monthly reports, and delivery workflows.
  • Track hours per client and delivery costs to understand profitability across pricing tiers.
  • Optimise the marketing funnel through landing-page experiments, pricing analysis, and improvements in audit-to-retainer conversion.
  • Identify opportunities to scale delivery through freelancers or additional team members.
  • Report performance, acquisition costs, client results, and growth plans directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in performance marketing, with hands-on ownership of Google Ads campaigns.
  • Proven experience delivering local SEO results for service-based businesses, including Google Business Profile, local landing pages, reviews, and local search visibility.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), conversion tracking, and call tracking.
  • Practical experience managing paid search campaigns, optimising landing pages, and improving lead generation performance.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, a digital marketing agency, or marketing for home services, trades, or field-service businesses.
  • Ability to analyse campaign performance and connect marketing metrics to business outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence presenting results, advising business owners, and discussing service value with prospective clients.
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of results.
  • Experience documenting processes and building repeatable workflows as a business grows.
  • Ability to work full-time during Eastern Time business hours.

Nice to Have

  • Experience marketing for tree care, arboriculture, landscaping, or other field-service businesses.
  • Experience with Google Local Services Ads.
  • Google Ads certification.
  • Experience with landing-page platforms such as Webflow, Unbounce, or WordPress.
  • Basic copywriting skills for ads, landing pages, and SEO content.
  • Experience working with clients in the US, UK, or Australian markets.
  • Experience developing case studies, referral programs, or agency service offerings.

How Success Is Measured

Your performance will be evaluated against clear business and marketing outcomes, including:

  • Client acquisition: Number of paying ArboScale clients and monthly recurring revenue.
  • Marketing pipeline: Audits booked, lead sources, and audit-to-retainer conversion rate.
  • Campaign performance: Cost per lead, lead volume, booked jobs, and results against client baselines.
  • ArboScale marketing: Cost per audit lead, organic traffic, and landing-page conversion rate.
  • Client retention: Retention of existing clients and delivery of measurable results.
  • Operational efficiency: Timely reporting, hours spent per client, and profitability of service delivery.

The first 90 days will focus on taking ownership of existing client accounts, establishing a repeatable acquisition funnel, and building a scalable operating model for ArboScale.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote work.
  • Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time.
  • Competitive fixed salary.
  • 10 paid vacation days.
  • Corporate English language training.
  • The opportunity to take ownership of a new service line and directly influence its growth strategy.
  • A chance to build and scale a specialised marketing offering within an established SaaS company.

The website currently has a working prototype and an initial resource library. You will help improve its content and establish the community’s daily operations, starting with the US market.

What you will do

  • Research the questions tree care professionals ask, identify relevant search queries, and build a focused content plan.
  • Write and edit practical articles, guides, checklists and newsletters in clear English.
  • Use AI tools for research assistance, outlines, drafts and content adaptation, taking responsibility for the accuracy and quality of everything published.
  • Check original sources, interview practitioners and coordinate expert review when a topic requires technical knowledge.
  • Optimize page titles, headings, descriptions and internal links. Update existing materials as information and search demand change.
  • Publish and maintain content through the website’s content management system.
  • Track search performance through Google Search Console and website analytics, identifying opportunities to improve relevant traffic and useful visitor actions.
  • Recruit and welcome founding participants, facilitate conversations in English and Spanish, and follow up on their questions and next steps.

  • Strong written and spoken English, including the ability to independently edit AI-generated drafts into natural, accurate, and useful content.
  • Working proficiency in Spanish sufficient to support participants and review everyday community communications.
  • Practical understanding of keyword research, search intent, on-page SEO and internal linking.
  • Examples of content that attracted relevant organic traffic, with an explanation of your contribution.
  • Experience using Google Search Console, a website analytics platform, and a content management system.
  • Confidence interviewing people, facilitating discussions and following through on commitments.
  • Experience using AI tools within a repeatable content workflow, including source verification and human review.
  • Availability for agreed working-hour overlap with the US audience.

Experience with professional communities, B2B audiences, skilled trades, or educational content is valuable. Arboriculture knowledge is an advantage; technical materials will require review by appropriate specialists.

Your first 90 days

You will assess the existing content library, establish editorial priorities, improve selected pages and introduce a sustainable publishing process. Alongside this, you will help recruit a small founding group and coordinate its first practical questions and follow-ups.

We will assess progress through content quality, relevant organic visibility and traffic, useful member interactions, completed next steps, and voluntary return. This role has no individual software sales quota.

To apply

Please share:

  • Your CV or LinkedIn profile.
  • Two relevant content examples, including one SEO case with results and your personal contribution.
  • A brief description of your experience supporting a community or member program.
